Defiant Nancy does not fear the sack but supporters display wrath after derby defeat.

The Celtic boss stated he had no concerns about the sack, maintaining, “I believe we are very near to changing our fortunes,” even after sliding worryingly close to the exit with a convincing loss to Rangers.

He remains focused on the fact Celtic can perform strongly for one half at a time. “The performance we had at certain moments was exceptionally high. That happened. I wouldn't speak so positively if it was different. That is the reason, in terms of results, I noted this is the same story. For that reason I said that a change is coming to getting it right. Currently: details, details, details.”

“We produced many, many good things that we did, once more. But now is sustaining it. My message would be different if I didn't believe it. Therefore I am a big believer we’re going to be able to fix this.”

The Rangers Boss Response

Rangers manager played down talk of a championship push despite what felt like a landmark win. “We take it game by game, then we can gradually build a challenge,” he said. “The belief in the squad is immense.”
