“I stated: ‘When you’re prepared, because that’s a hard experience, visit the White House. We’re going to pay tribute to her,” the president informed reporters. “And similarly with Andrew, no matter the outcome.”
Mourners gathered over the weekend at the high school in the state to remember Sarah.
Both they had been serving with the West Virginia National Guard as part of Trump’s national effort to assist policing efforts in Washington DC.
“Sarah was the type of pupil that educators desired. She behaved with calm resilience, a contagious smile and a positive energy that lifted people around her,” the principal, the head of Beckstrom’s alma mater, informed the press. “She was sweet, caring and always eager to assist people.”
Funeral arrangements for Beckstrom are still being arranged.
Authorities have charged a twenty-nine-year-old suspect with a charge of murder and two counts of attempted murder while armed.
